DATATECHNIC, based in Uxegney in the Vosges, is a human-sized subsidiary of an international German group that is a world leader in the field of balancing. Our teams of enthusiasts, with great technical expertise, design, manufacture and install turbocharger balancing machines for the automotive industry. As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for an Automation / Robotics Engineer (M/F).
Job description:
Reporting to the Automation/Robotics/Computer Science Manager, your main missions will be to:
- Réaliser des études techniques dans le domaine de l’automatisme et la robotique, en documentant, via des cahiers des charges, des spécifications techniques, des rapports de tests,
- Concevoir et programmer des systèmes automatisés sur base automate et/ou robot,
- Procéder aux essais des équipements dans notre atelier en France ou celui de notre maison mère en Allemagne,
- Mettre en service les équipements chez nos clients (France et étranger),
- Piloter les projets de développement relevant de son domaine de compétence,
- Assister l’équipe commerciale dans l’établissement des offres de prix,
- Participer à la maintenance préventive et curative des installations, ainsi qu’au support technique de nos clients, en apportant son expertise technique,
- Former le personnel de maintenance et les opérateurs chez le client,
- Rédiger les documentations nécessaires pour nos clients (français et anglais),
- Contribuer au retour d'expérience par l'analyse des faits techniques, par la rédaction de fiches d'anomalies et par la mise en œuvre de recommandations,
- Contribuer à la veille technologique et proposer des innovations techniques.
Your strengths and prerequisites for success:
- You have a BAC +5 engineering or Master's degree, with a focus on automation / robotics / mechatronics / industrial IT.
- Ideally, you have some initial experience in an industrial environment.
- You enjoy working as part of a team, and are recognized for your good interpersonal skills, ability to listen and thoroughness.
- You are ready to work in a dynamic environment.
- You have a perfect command of English, which is essential for working in our international environment.
- You know how to read and analyze electrical diagrams.
- You are proficient in motion control systems
- You are familiar with the following SIEMENS software packages TIA Portal and Simotion Scout (ROCKWELL RSLogix 5000 would be a plus)
- You are familiar with KUKA and/or FANUC robot programming.
- You have a sound knowledge of automation, electrical engineering and mechanics.
